Welcome to the Women's Inclusion Network Page
Sobeys believes in providing employees with an environment where they feel included, respected, and valued for the unique perspectives they bring to the organization. Created in 2018, WIN promotes an inclusive and equitable work environment in which all women are valued and given the opportunity to develop and contribute to their full potential. We have created this page to centralize information for our members by sharing resources and events and supporting communication with our members. Membership is open to all office and retail employees of Sobeys and its franchisee partners nationally who identify as women or allies or women.
Purpose
The Women’s Inclusion Network business resource group was developed to:
- Foster a work environment where everyone feels included, respected and valued.
- Create a supportive network to encourage members to bring their full selves to work.
- Support the professional development of women and strengthen the internal talent pipelines for Sobeys and its franchise partners.
- Identify specific issues that impact the inclusion of women.
- Seek feedback and offer solutions to obstacles.
